When Chandramukhi was released, somebody had written a hilarious shot-by-shot description of the Rajni's first appearance in the movie. I am not able to find it by googling now. Can someone who remembers it, please provide a link to it.

Heres the Review : An all and out Rajani flick. Dont go in to see great story line but you can make out where the money was spent as you watch each shot.

I was balancing my plate of flowers, aarti and burning camphor , so didnt catch the whole movie.

Rajni ki jai.

phew..u fell from a great height..man pl dont tell me u liked this movie..
that is a disgrace to our society- all those biig numbers that r ringing in kollywood..no logic, no sense even more- taking viewers for granted to be thororughbred fools..i dont want to repeat the general goofs of self made super star movies of kolywodd but this one shud be there- lowest ebb.

Gawd this was a pathetic movie, even for Rajini standards it was abysmal. Tamil society itself has accepted anything comical, idiotic and crazy dished out from this chap to be worthy of watching. Such is the relegation to insanity of the Tamil film industry.
The story is not even believable and is all over the place, that a software architect can accumulate over 240Crores itself is unbelievable, further bellying dowry rates, but that he would spend it all not knowing the intricacies of politics Desi style is crazy.
Some parts of this movie had a Gentleman feel to it, other parts were outright ludicrous.
Why would anyone pay crores to have him act or dance or even gyrate is beyond anyone. The irony is just a few days before watching S i watched another Rajni starrer Kai Koddukum Kai and came away astounded by the music and the story, not to mention the acting, and then this....!
Instead of one movie every year, maybe one waste of reel every 2 years is better.

Of course it is another matter than Rajni starrers uplift the whole Indian film industry, the cost economics of which is essential to the livelihoods of millions.
